GENERAL INTRODUCTION

In 2022, Lưu Thị Hiếu and Nguyễn Thùy Chi, both born in 1990 and living with Cerebral Palsy (CP), crossed paths through ACPV (Adults Living with CP Vietnam). Despite their unique journeys, they shared a common vision and mission for the disability community.

Hiếu, a master’s degree holder, has over 10 years of experience in disability inclusion across national and international contexts and more than 2 years of running a business that produces crochet products crafted by people with disabilities and their families. Meanwhile, Chi, as the head of ACPV, has over 12 years of experience advocating for independent living for people with disabilities, along with accomplishments in various creative fields, particularly painting.

In October 2022, they co-founded **Chạm Vào Xanh**, a nonprofit social enterprise with the goal of bridging the gap between people with disabilities and society.

The name “Chạm Vào Xanh” (Touch the Green) draws inspiration from the color green, symbolizing hope and representing the CP community. It embodies a shared voice for the “green” community and a beacon of hope for people with disabilities in general.

**Chạm Vào Xanh** combines business and social activities, serving as a safe and nurturing space where individuals with disabilities—especially those with CP—can work, create, and find joy in their lives. Through its initiatives, the organization also aims to reshape societal perceptions, fostering acceptance and recognition of people with disabilities as integral contributors to society.
